Charli Xcx’s Remix Album Just Got An Icy-Cool Scandinavian Makeover

It’s official: Brat summer is seamlessly transitioning into Brat autumn, with Charli XCX—the artist behind the chartreuse sensation that took the world by storm this summer—releasing her highly anticipated remix album, Brat. The new release brings a fresh take on her original chart-topping hits, staying true to her bratty roots while adding a new twist.
Over the past few months, Charli has teased her fans with a few tracks from the upcoming album, keeping them eager for more. One of these tracks, a remix of the viral hit "360," features two Swedish icons: legendary singer Robyn and rapper Yung Lean. Now that the full album is out, another Scandi surprise awaits. It seems Charli has an eye for Swedish talent, as the remix of "Rewind," a mellower track on the album, features Stockholm-born rapper Bladee.
If there’s one album an artist dreams of appearing on this year, it’s Brat. For Bladee—whose tracks have racked up millions of plays on Spotify—the feature is a huge milestone. He’s also a key member of the Swedish music collective Drain Gang, alongside Yung Lean, which could explain Charli's connection to Bladee.
Like the original "Rewind," the remix delves into the complexities of fame and its darker side, enhanced by entrancing electro beats. It’s sure to be on repeat for many Scandinavians this weekend, echoing through headphones and speakers alike.
